El Presidente Posted March 23 Posted March 23 This is a new series where we take a cigar that may have had somewhat mixed reviews upon release and see where they are now with a little water under the bridge. Setting the discussion: Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion Number 2 was an LE release of 2000/1. It was to be one of the few Double Coronas that have been released under the program and it is a cigar that has largely disappeared from discussion. I have only smoked a few of these and not for the past decade. Has anyone here had the pleasure (or otherwise?) We have enough old timers who may have had the opportunity. Your recollections of this cigar? It's now coming on 26 years. How time flies! 3
Duder Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Smoked a few of these shortly after release and liked them a lot. I’ve still got a few but haven’t smoked one in a long time. I’ll have to see if I can dig one up and smoke one again soon. I remember I did prefer both the Hermosos 1 & 2 though. 2 1
BrightonCorgi Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Been about 20 years since I last smoked one. I never bought a box, but a couple of friends did at the time. Hermoso No. 2 that was launch a few years later is a bit past its prime. 2
