Tubes how they have changed!

Lets take a look at some tubes to see how they have changed over the many years!

In the 60s some tubes just had a plan push on cap - no threads.

Back in the 70s & 80s the tubes were silver with black or blue printing. In the early 70s and before, the screw cap had a rounded 1 thread type cap.

Then they changed to a flatter style cap with 3 thread cap.

Next, starting around 2008 we have the 2 piece slide-apart tubes with multi colors.

It's rare to see them intact, but these tubes are supposed to be sealed with a pull tab. You can see where it was removed in your photo.
