Did it rub anyone else the wrong way that there was zero mention of the state of the country and well-being of the workers and families of Cuba? I know the festival has its "prestige" and standards of excellence to uphold, but I would have hoped its priority would have included "preserving and allocating resources that are critical to the livelihood of our people and the future of Cuba." 

Is it just me?  

I agree with you but I certainly wasn’t surprised. I think everyone knows the people are of no concern to them, so no need to lie about it.
