Popular Post StoagieSnape Posted 11 hours ago Popular Post Posted 11 hours ago I saw this earlier. Did it rub anyone else the wrong way that there was zero mention of the state of the country and well-being of the workers and families of Cuba? I know the festival has its "prestige" and standards of excellence to uphold, but I would have hoped its priority would have included "preserving and allocating resources that are critical to the livelihood of our people and the future of Cuba." Is it just me? 5 1

Is it just me? I agree with you but I certainly wasn’t surprised. I think everyone knows the people are of no concern to them, so no need to lie about it. 1
Popular Post LaoFan Posted 8 hours ago Author Popular Post Posted 8 hours ago Most of the people with the most to say have never touched Cuba. Not saying I'm an expert, but I've at least been there. I have people that I would call 'family'. I've brought them things they need. I ask them...1v1...what do you need? How can I make your life better? I listened to Jasim's (first time) live stream today...he's been there too. He has friends there. He talked emotionally about wanting to help them. I promise you he is doing more for any Cuban than Twitter warriors ragebaiting on the topic of the day. This topic is not as cut and dry as you dream it to be. Be open minded. Think about the people...not the headline. You'll see things a lot more clearly. I have no dog in the fight. I don't want any outcome other than my friends being happier. 9 1
