Wow, it seems that perhaps other manufacturers have caught onto the idea that producing a Ninfa is a great idea. Kudos to EGM. No doubt you're grateful for the Fabrica 5 Puro Desnudo Ninfas N7!

The newest cigar from EGM Cigars will go on sale next week.

On Monday, Feb. 9, an event will be held at The Cabinet Club in Kuwait City to launch the EGM Ninfa, a new 7 x 34 cigar. It is made entirely of three-year-old Dominican tobacco. Ettore Moraschinelli of EGM told halfwheel that the blend is seco dominant, but there’s some ligero inside. It is made at an unnamed factory in the Dominican Republic.

In the U.S., the cigar will have an MSRP of $19.99. However, the cigar will be offered exclusively in Kuwait for three months, before distribution will be expanded to other markets.

The EGM Ninfa is offered in 25-count and 10-count boxes, pictured above.

“Ninfas are a dream come true,” said Moraschinelli in a press release. “These elegant cigars speak to us about bygone era. It’s a size that asks you to slow down and listen to the leaf.”

Moraschinelli and Kacper Hamilton worked together on the branding, which they say was inspired by Art Nouveau. Previously, Hamilton has designed a few accessories that are sold by EGM’s parent company.

EGM Cigars Unveils its Latest Creation

February 3, 2026 - Press Release

EGM Cigars will unveil the EGM Ninfa at a launch event on February the 9th at Kuwait City’s The Cabinet Club, marking the return of a slender vitola largely absent from modern production in recent decades.

Presented in varnished boxes, Ninfas will be offered in Boxes of 10 (3-4-3) and Boxes of 25 (8-9-8). My favorite size and I’m not tempted at all. Still can’t believe people are spending 20+ for NCs.

Padron and Davidoff have wonderful offerings in the $20+ range. And, with taxes, a lot of sticks crack that easily. Not like there’s a lot of Cubans under that price, either. Really the best sub-20 are Fab5, Padron, Aging Room.

I like seeing more of this size, but, man. I haven't had any EGM's but that's quite the price per stick. The N7 punches well above its weight so it'll be interesting to see what this can do.

That article on the Cigar Journal link is written so poorly and is littered with errors, the proof reader needs to be fired or trained.

With regards the EGM Ninfa I imagine it will be overpriced and pretty boring to smoke. I have smoked most of the EGM production including the Empyrean lines and none of it is anything that makes you think wow...I need these in my humidor rotation. Add to that they are pretty expensive and when compared to other NC in the same price ranges they really can't compete on flavours or complexity. The construction is always pretty spot on though.

I wonder what percentage of their volume is repeat customer sales. These sure have an aggressive marketing campaign on social media show casing high end cigar accessories and exotic locations. That alone made me suspicious a long time ago.

I was given a Robusto by an acquaintance (newer to the cigar scene) last year. Super bland and one dimensional cedar is the best way I can describe it.

It would make sense to me that the EGM crew is likely lurking on FOH, have seen the obvious success of the Nudies line and basically have their new product pipeline handed to them. If I were them, that's what I'd do. $20 for a NC Ninfa is quite high. Hard to be dramatically more expensive and worse than the competition, even with snazzy packaging.

Random noob question. Why do cigar releases seem to be, at least in my limited time on here, in Kuwait? Or more specifically in Kuwait City. Is the cigar market simply that strong in Kuwait that it’s a litmus test market for mass production? Am I missing something else or just uninformed? Or all of or some combination of the above? default_smile.png

Mohammad and his Kuwait cigar team are one of the most professional premium cigar operations in the world today.

It is a pleasure to work with them. It is a pleasure to spend time with them. I can certainly understand why global brands partner with them. :ok:

I can’t believe people spend over $30 for Cubans. One is as nuts as the other.
