However, good mate "Wazza" / Warren is a genius in this field (it's his profession). He is a deck regular each Friday. If no solution comes on this thread between now and Friday, i will run it past him and post from the deck. 1
Havanaaddict Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I found this. I don’t know if you’ve already tried it. To fix a Hydra humidifier that has stopped working, perform a hard reset by unplugging the unit, holding the power button, and waiting at least 120 seconds before plugging it back in. Common causes include a malfunctioning hygrometer, mineral buildup on the sensors, or a failed water pump, requiring cleaning with white vinegar and verifying water levels. 2
chris12381 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After the hard reset suggested above, I'd check the contacts on the ribbon cable and the pins in the hydra are clean and free of corrosion. I remember they get finicky after a while in humid environments. Then, test the transformer with a multimeter to rule out that out.
Puros Y Vino Posted 59 minutes ago Author Posted 59 minutes ago Did that hard reset. Didn't work. But. Unplugging the expansion fans did. I'll do some googling around that. Kinda sucks but the main unit isn't fried. So that's good. Thanks everyone.
