Popular Post JohnS Posted January 31 Popular Post Posted January 31 Golden Moments at the 10th Daniel Marshall Kitzbühel Campfire January 30, 2026 - Jakob Gnann On Saturday, January 24, the 10th Annual Daniel Marshall “Kitzbühel Campfire” Cigar Lounge & Terrace Event took place at the prestigious Kitzbühel Country Club, marking a special anniversary in the calendar of international cigar culture. Just as the event began, nature played its part: the winter sun broke through the clouds, bathing the Kitzbühel Alps in warm light and creating a scene so picturesque it felt almost surreal. Guests were treated to breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the club’s spacious terrace, where the snow-covered mountains glowed in golden hues. A perfect setting for an unforgettable afternoon of cigars, spirits, and camaraderie. The cigar lounge itself was impeccably appointed, featuring a beautifully curated Daniel Marshall humidor and offering both an elegant indoor area and an expansive panoramic terrace. Thanks to numerous outdoor heaters, guests were able to comfortably enjoy cigars outdoors despite the alpine temperatures, turning the terrace into a cozy yet elegant winter cigar haven. Following the legendary Hahnenkamm downhill race, celebrities from the worlds of art, culture, and sport gathered at Richard Hauser’s Kitzbühel Country Club to celebrate the pleasures of fine cigars in a relaxed yet exclusive atmosphere. Among the highlights of the evening was the appearance of Arnold Schwarzenegger, a long-standing Hahnenkamm regular, who joined guests toward the end of the event, adding an unmistakable touch of star power to the anniversary celebration. Guests were treated to exquisite finger food, premium drinks, and the Daniel Marshall Red Label cigar, perfectly complemented by a selection of rare and exclusive spirits specially curated for the occasion. True to the spirit of the Campfire, the focus was not only on luxury, but on shared moments, conversation, and connection. With his characteristic warmth and hospitality, Daniel Marshall personally welcomed guests with open arms, making everyone feel instantly at home. His presence underscored the essence of the Campfire concept: a modern gathering rooted in friendship, tradition, and the shared appreciation of life’s finer pleasures. Adding to the exclusivity of the anniversary, guests had the opportunity to discover Daniel Marshall’s highly sought-after “Golden Tickets.” These limited offers — valued at USD 1,700 — grant collectors the chance to acquire the rare Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary Cigar, as well as the spectacular DM 24kt Golden Cigar, which was also on display and drew considerable attention throughout the event. The 10th Annual Kitzbühel Campfire once again proved that, during Hahnenkamm weekend, skiing may take center stage by day, but when evening falls, it is cigars, friendship, and golden moments that truly define Kitzbühel’s unique winter glamour. NYGuido Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I’m not loving this whole secret, celebrity infused, upper crust event thing happening in cigars. It already exists in fashion, in watches, in food, in cars, etc, etc, etc. And it’s not that I think influencers and rich people and status and exclusivity have somehow never been apart of things or that I’d feel differently if I was well heeled enough to be invited. No, it’s more fundamental than that. It’s that cigars for many of us are the great equalizer. They serve to bring together people who may not otherwise have much in common in terms of age, lifestyle, wealth, race, etc. Cigars allow a means of connecting and sharing and living that isn’t tied, as so much is, to what one has, eschewing it instead for what we share. These events position cigars as something else with which to divide people. But all I’ve ever known them as—all I ever WANT to know them as—is something that can unite people. 2
