Popular Post El Presidente Posted yesterday at 04:55 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 04:55 AM In Spain, the new 2026 price list for Cuban cigars is showing an average increase of 3.83 percent for roughly 350 different SKUs. Spain is a great bellwether for Cuban cigar prices for a few different reasons. First, due to low taxes, Spain is one of the least expensive places to buy Cuban cigars. In 2025, it was the second-largest market, after China, for Cuban cigars. And, it’s also the secondary home of Habanos S.A., the Cuban cigar monopoly, outside of Havana itself. CONTINUED 7
Marco_011t556 Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM Spain will impose a heavier cigar/cigarette tax, not sure if price will also reflect it.
Salomones Posted yesterday at 07:51 AM Posted yesterday at 07:51 AM It's like last years. For Germany there will be two increases during the year.
Popular Post Sanchez27 Posted yesterday at 09:24 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:24 AM It's worth pointing out that some of the headline price increases by brand are masking the changes by specific vitolas. For example, the headline changes of 8.26% for Ramon Allones is being pushed up because the price change for RA Gigantes was 38.89%. However, excluding Gigantes from the overall RA group of prices shows a modest 2.96% change for 2026. There are other significant changes hidden at a vitola level, such as Montecristo A's jumping up from €52 to €65 each, a 25% increase, yet Halfwheel's price change shows Montecristo overall average increase being 3.74%. And the most wild change was the RyJ Exhibicion No.4s, which have skyrocketed from €12 to €17.5 a stick, a 45.83% hike. So yes, relatively modest as a headline, but the devil is very much in the detail. 9
JohnnyO Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I saw some strange prices in T3 this weekend. They had RyJ Exhibicion No 2 in Tubos $10+ and some other similar sized cigars MC/HUp in the $8-$10 range. Lots of boxes, not just singles. It has been a while since I saw this type of pricing, anything $10 or less that wasn't machine made. John 2 1
