Popular Post Ford2112 Posted January 6 Popular Post Posted January 6 I am a huge Rambo fan so I was bound to buy some of these regardless of any outside influence or feedback. I know little about them as I had never had a GOTF. They are a Kyle Gellis / Aganorsa collaboration evidently. I am an Aganorsa fan so far! The smell off this thing is sweet and musty and promising. It has a closed foot, which looks cool. Does it serve a purpose I don't know, it seems to be irrelevant and I had to work a little to get it going. It is raining like the dickens here in central California which is not my favorite to smoke in but I refuse to be kept away from what I love! Light up and first few puffs I get a perfume spice. Hmmm. The first third is great! I am getting toasted almond and paprika ? Nutmeg? Leather is in there and the retro is very smooth and pleasant. Unfortunately this is where the cigar seems to go flat, and it never really came back. These are pretty wet still I think as I like my cigars drier. I will not revisit these for at least 30 days probably longer. After a few relights and touch ups due to a wonky burn it is evident I am only getting pepper and not much of that sweetness. I ended up listening to some funk which was a good mood setter in this rain. Great tune. Final third was disappointing. Not getting much. That opening tells me these will likely wake up at some point. I only have a handful of them. May not be purchasing this vitola again anyway. What I think I look like smoking the Rambo... What I actually look like smoking the Rambo... Murdock will not have to worry about me! 😆 Cigar was definitely on the more robust side strength wise. 2 and a half stars out of 5. 10 1

Dlowil Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I had one that was wet and had muted flavors as well. I have a feeling they would do well with dry boxing. 1
