Popular Post Capn_Jackson Posted January 4 Popular Post Posted January 4 This one was a Christmas gift from @Rupe, many thanks to you fine sir! Haven’t had it long, but I dry-boxed knowing I’d have a quick moment this afternoon. Cold draw is baking spice, anise, coffee. Light-up gives me lovely dark cherries and cream. Some coffee persists through the first half, mingling with some gingerbread and spice, but it’s that RyJ cherry on the finish that really makes this shine. Creamy texture. Around the midpoint, gingerbread sweetness turns to more chocolate, maybe chocolate-covered cherries at this point. Last half seems to eschew the chocolate notes. More graham cracker, some agave, still dark cherry and lashes of coffee here and there. Some damp earth occasionally, and toasted sourdough. The last little bit is a lovely mixture of anise and cedar, still holding on to some honeyed graham cracker. Love these little smokes, and I always forget about them! 9 1
Mike Mecklenburg Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Puffed through three boxes of these, ESO June 2019, SMA July 2019 and LGR September 2019. They were very consistent with the flavors and most of the time I would get combination of cherry, cream, spice, wood and a straight tobacco/toast. Good construction/burn on this underrated little cigar. 4
JPark3 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I love these. I'm almost out of my 2024 box because they're too good to wait on, lmao! 2
