Popular Post loose_axle Posted January 1 Popular Post Posted January 1 First smoke of 2026. There were no transitions with this one just consistent throughout the whole of the cigar with salt, cream, vanilla, a rich brown sugar and a flavour I can only describe as ‘fortified hay’. Very smooth, very pleasant would love if this was regular production. 14
JohnS Posted January 2 Posted January 2 You've piqued my curiosity with this cigar now, @loose_axle, you know that? 😂 1

JohnS Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Yes, I did. But I still have another one (that you gifted me) to sample and compare at some point. Hence my post! 👍 1 1

Well I reckon these could hold on and age very well if that helps the itch? I’d love to get another box but I think it’s highly unlikely with the prices on them. 1
ha_banos Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Thanks for the review. I managed to find one box on my travels couple of years ago. Now curious to try one. 1
Cestis4 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I have two sticks. Going to fire one up this week. Thank you for the review What pairing would you suggest? 1

I've only smoked two myself. One was with the Metaxa Private Reserve Brandy which has quite a sweet rose water finish that worked well and above was smoked with a Barbados rum aged in Tawny Port casks in South Australia. Both worked really well but I'd say the rum was ahead. If you've got a rum you like, give it a whirl! 1
