Breaking Bad gets the win! The general consensus being that GoT would have made it a much closer fight if they hadn't shat the bed on the ending. I think GoT writers could have improved that immeasurably simply by making Cersei's death a horrific one. She got off way too lightly! Folks might have been more forgiving then.
