I have a question. Who is likely to buy this very expensive cigar table cutter? Because there must be a market out there for it to be priced so exorbitantly, right?

Dunhill Introduces $16,500 Cigar Cutter Table Lighter

Many companies make combination cigar cutters and lighters, mostly under the guise that they make a convenient combination for a cigar smoker. However, the new Dunhill Cigar Cutter Table Lighter is not going to be marketed as such.

It’s not small, it’s not very portable, and it’s not all that affordable.

The Dunhill Silver Cigar Cutter Table Lighter is a three-piece design that includes a desktop cigar cutter with four different cutting options, a removable base and a Dunhill Turbo Lighter that is designed to be stored inside the base. As for the cutter, it’s a multi-cut lever design, a concept that has been used by other companies as well. There are four different openings: two straight cuts and two v-cuts. The holes are different sizes, designed to accommodate cigars of various ring gauges. One unique part of this cutter is that there is a lid that can be closed when it’s not in use. On its website, Dunhill lists this as made in England.

Also unique is the lighter integration. While most combination lighter/cutter accessories are a single piece, these are three pieces that can be completely separated from one another. That includes the Dunhill Turbo Lighter, which can be stored inside of the base via a custom cut-out at the front. The Turbo Lighter is a standard model from the company, normally sold for $1,650, though this has a finish that is different from any of the other lighters sold on Dunhill’s website. While the lighter looks like a vintage soft flame lighter, it’s actually a torch that has a unique push-down ignition system that is activated by applying pressure to the horizontal bar that runs across the top of the lighter. While these lighters were once made in England, Dunhill’s website says the lighter is made in Switzerland.

Both the lighter and cutter are made of brass and plated in palladium.

The Dunhill Cigar Cutter Table Lighter is priced at $16,500 and is limited to 10 pieces.
