JDoughty Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 I mean, it's an LFD Salomon Unico, but who the heck wants to smoke a Care Bear cigar? I don't think there are very many 8 year old cigar connoisseurs to market this to. 😆 Is there a specific term for this kind of cigar leaf art? More importantly, will it actually smoke decently without falling apart? I assume the patterns are created by contrasting an outer and inner wrapper and cutting the outer, but I don't know enough about the craft of rolling to be sure how it works. Anyone smoked one? I like an LFD now and then when I feel like punching myself in the face with nicotine, but I can't say I've ever tried or even seen these before. I did not buy one. 1 1 1
JDoughty Posted October 31, 2025 Author Posted October 31, 2025 I think I found the target market for these.

The patterns may be created during fermentation by covering parts of the wrapper so it ends up a different color. I believe that is how Davidoff created the stripes on their Year of the Tiger release. If you cut shapes out of the wrapper I don’t see how they wouldn’t fall apart while smoking. 2
MrBirdman Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Looking more closely at the picture, some of the shapes (particularly the candela ones) look like pieces glued onto the base wrapper.
