Question on the Habanos Piramides Selection Sampler

Received the question below. 

Are the Cohiba piramides in the Havana combinaciones samplers the exact same as the piramides extras sold by Cohiba in the 10boxes?

 

I have no reason to say they are no except that the 3-4 I have smoked have never lived up to one I have selected from a 10 count box. That could likely / simply be some form of "confirmation bias". 

If members have the experience, chime in.

Only if you get the ones in the glass top box.

The Cohiba Piramides in these multi-brand releases are not the same as the Cohiba Piramides Extra. The CPE has a slightly larger ring gauge and are 8 mm (or one-third of an inch) longer. Furthermore, the quality of Cohibas in these multi-brand releases is different to regular production releases. Serviceable to good, but the regular production stock is better.

Probably. And with varied wrapper shades. Were being duped.
