Lightning strikes twice - Partagas Shorts

Well my best box of partagas shorts ever was UBM DIC 2018. Got them from BR.  It was full of dessert/bakery/sweet baking spice notes that were present from the first puff until the last in all 25 cigars.  The box had about 5 years of age when i smoked through it.  
 

so ive been chasing that flavor and aging 2 or 3 boxes, sampling from time to time.

so this week i have smoked 3 from SOR ABR 21 and its that same savory incredible flavor. Something like a desert or bakery treat meets rice pudding or flan with cinnamon lol

i hope the rest smoke this way. The current box is a beautiful dark rosado (pictures not quite getting it) as was the first box if i recall.

Nice. This has been one of the few sticks of recent years where the boxes I bought have been less enjoyable than pre-2020. It’s probable / possible that I just got unlucky and pulled two bad examples.
