Hypnos Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Just wondering if any of you have had any experience, good or bad, with Ramón Allones No. 3. I’ve got the chance to pick up a box at a decent price and wondered what you reckon. Not much info out there yet on how it stacks up against RASS and RASCC.
Popular Post smashed Posted October 15, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 15, 2025 It's a great smoke and I literally just added another box from today's 24:24 as I think it's a great value (comparatively to other things of that size) for $25 a stick. It's not exactly the same as a RASS or RASCC though, so kind of hard to do a direct comparison to say which one is better or how it stacks, not that simple imo. RASS is that 'stewed fruit' as a lot like to call it, whereas the No.3 comes across more leather/cedar to me. All work together in a collection. 5
Montezüma Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 RASCC ranks first for me. Its a mainstay in my rotation. RASS is an acquired taste, a great cigar for the enthusiast. The No.3 however, for me I prefer a Monty Double Edmundo. Similar size, similar price but perhaps just a matter of taste. RA is such a great marca with loyal following but if availability wouldn't be a factor, the best regular production for me is the RA Superiores. 4
BrightonCorgi Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Been eyeing those as well. Haven't had an opportunity to pick a box yet.
