I am more excited to taste all the MOFOH cigars than to pick on either my slightly underripe Cubans or my very old Cubans. I probably have more pre-embargo and historical collector CC's left than 'normal' aged stash at this point, and I am not traveling anywhere with those. I don't have a ton of CC's in between those two ages because I quit buying them many years ago after one too many boxes of expensive plugged unsmokables. Only decided recently to give them a chance again.

If any of my BR #1s smell ready to smoke, a couple of those are for sure going in. I have a few Monte #2s left that are of smoking age, the rest of that stash needs another year or two. I'd like to try one of the Avowed New Dawn I picked up. Might pick on a few of my March 24 Partagas Mille Fleurs, those are favorites for a quick smoke and have been fine with a year of rest. I typically do pack in doubles or more of everything because if I am smoking with a buddy I will always share one. So probably four FOH lanceros from my decently well rested bundle, anything from my recent MOFOH sampler that smells ready to smoke, and a couple BR #1 that landed on 9/10 if they're fully rested and ready. Possibly an Avowed New Dawn toro and a Padron or two, if there's room. Maybe a Monte #2, but the BR #1 does such a good imitation of a well aged Monte #2 in the second half plus a bonus dessert round in the first half. I don't see much reason to pick on my less replaceable CC stash when I can smoke all the BR I want and buy as many more as I want. Have I mentioned that those things are ^%$@#! delicious? 😆
