JDoughty Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 The BR #1 was absolutely phenomenal. I would love to know what drives the decision to make a cigar a Bond Roberts as opposed to a MOFOH? 1

The concept behind Desnudo/MOFOH was to provide accessible/affordable Cubanesque cigars for all. We have sometimes targeted vitolas largely passed over by Habanos. Bond Roberts cigars has an international focus. Higher level wrapper/tobacco. Still, a DNA is shared across the lines. Blends are not shared. Higher level of craftsmanship. 1 3

Latt22 Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Just ordered and received the BR109. I think I should let these rest for a month or so. I hear they may be shipped in a more humid state. Would this be correct? I normally rest everything after shipping.
ElLoboLoco Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 I guess they ship from Florida but I don’t know if that makes a difference. I am sure they are stored in an environment that is controlled. I received some Spada Gorda fivers that were a smidge dry, so I needed humidity added, YMMV. *I don’t think it’s a bad idea to let things settle. Especially as the price tag goes up. 2 1

Just like @ElLoboLoco said, I too have had some arrive slightly dry and others slightly wet…meaning no different than when you order any other cigars. All depends on what the conditions are in transit. 1
El Presidente Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Let them acclimatise in your humidor. These have done a touch of travelling. 30-60 days would be ideal. 1
Latt22 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 Amazing part is they shipped Friday the 3rd from Florida and arrived at my home in Washington State Monday. 3 days travel is FAST! 1
TheCigarSoldier Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 Is the BR line a Honduran Puro or does it contain Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco in the filler? I thought it was a puro but I've been wrong many times before. Either way, delicious smoke. Thanks El Pres!
