I’m joining you from the Big Apple (New York City, that is), where I’ve lived for the past decade or so. My cigar journey has been one of fits and starts, with long breaks between periods of intense interest. For many years I enjoyed the aroma and general allure of a good cigar more than the flavor, but as I’ve aged I’ve developed a taste for the taste! For too long I was smoking poorly maintained, low quality NW cigars, and thought that such was the general experience of cigar smoking. A close friend recently shared a Cuban Montecristo with me, and it was eye-opening! I’ve enjoyed many a good stick with him since. I’ve been voraciously reading through these forums and am excited to continue to expand the breadth and depth of knowledge of, and appreciation for, a fine cigar. Cheers!
