Bocock Brothers Adds Texas A&M as Newest Collegiate Partner

September 19, 2025 - Patrick Lagreid

Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars, which has steadily been releasing a series of cigars in partnership with a handful of universities, has announced that its latest collaboration is with Texas A&M University as it has become an officially licensed partner of the school.

“This partnership is a true honor for us,” said Douglas Bocock, co-founder of Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars, via a press release. “We’re thrilled to work with such an incredible university and to deliver a product that reflects the pride and passion of the Aggie network. Being headquartered in Houston, home to many Aggies and just two hours from College Station makes this partnership even more special.”

The initial collection is made up of three lines and a total of five cigars.

The Aggie White Label uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Honduras, a Costa Rican binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. It’s available in two sizes: a 5 x 50 robusto and a 6 x 52 toro, priced at $14 and $14.50, respectively, and both come in 20-count boxes.

The Aggie Maroon Label line uses a Honduras habano wrapper, a Sumatra binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. It’s offered in the same two sizes and at the same prices as the White Label.

Rounding out the cigar offerings is the Aggie Reserve Figurado, a 6 x 52 vitola that uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. It’s offered in a collectible box called the 12th Man Box Set, an item featuring a design inspired by Kyle Field, the school’s football stadium. Pricing is set at $335 per box, which works out to just under $28 per cigar. It’s a limited edition item, but the company has not disclosed how many sets are being released.

The cigars made their debut on Thursday night at a launch party at Permission Whiskey in Houston. They are being distributed regionally by White Oak Distribution. They are all being produced at the San Judas Tadeo factory in Danlí, Honduras.

Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars has also produced cigars for the University of Florida and Louisiana State University.

There’s a bit of irony partnering with an institution whose customers mostly can’t buy the product, but of course these schools sell football as much as an education.
