Price increase again

Since September 2025 we will have in Germany another increase in Cuban Cigars of 3-5%.

Are other countries also affected?

Unsure regarding immediate price increases and others (@El Presidente?) here will have way more insight. 

Beyond and despite above, you’ve prompted me to think that CC, for me at least, haven’t been (a) as available and (b) as cheap as they are at the moment - since maybe the end of '23 or mid '24. Some cracking deals (relative to 23/24 pricing) to be found at the moment I think. None more so than 24:24 (assuming you’re not US and ha ha if you are - suckers).

We recently had an annual excise duty increase, by the Australian Government, of tobacco products in stick form exceeding in weight 0.8 grams per stick actual tobacco content (i.e. cigars, for example). The duty went from $AU2158.65 to $AU2397.31 per kilogram of tobacco content.

That's about an 11% increase. And yes, it's a big increase!

Hopefully they come down since we in the States have been cut off and Habanos loses I believe %19 market share that we are. Or they increase and have more for the rest of you.

I think the stat is that the USA makes up roughly 20% of HSA sales, not that HSA has 20% of the USA cigar market. They wouldn’t even calculate the stat that way because sales are recorded elsewhere first before being resold to US buyers.
