It seems that we're getting a spate of these crime stories lately. I honestly have no idea what's going on!

 

Police investigate armed robbery with masked suspects, one in clown mask

CHERRYVILLE, Pa. - Police say multiple people, some of whom were armed, robbed a Northampton County store.

Police say five men robbed Cherryville Vape and Cigar Shop on Lehigh Drive in Lehigh Township around 1:15 a.m.  An employee tells me the store is open 24/7. 

Three of the men were armed with handguns, according to police. Four of the suspects have their faces covered, with one wearing a clown mask.

Investigators say cash and merchandise were stolen from the store.

A store employee tells 69 News that nobody was injured.

Officers could be seen looking outside of the store with flashlights early in the morning.

A neighbor tells us police went around the area looking for surveillance footage.

Police from multiple departments assisted on scene.

The robbery remains under investigation, according to police.

At this time, there's no word on any arrests or on exactly how much cash and merchandise was taken from the store.
