Dominique London and Tang Tobacco Announce Strategic Partnership

Dominique London, Europe’s largest premium cigar and spirits retailer, has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Tang Tobacco Limited, the shareholder of The Pacific Cigar Company Limited, the distributor for Habanos in Asia Pacific.

“The luxury retail sector has been missing the Hermès of cigar retail” said Dominique Gyselinck, Founder of Dominique London. “With Tang Tobacco’s deep-rooted infrastructure and our shared obsession with elegance, heritage and service, we’re here to create something the cigar world has never seen, a unified global luxury experience for the most discerning connoisseurs.”

This agreement also builds on a period of expansion for Dominique London. Founded in 2021 through the merger of Belgium’s La Casa del Tabaco and the UK’s C.Gars Ltd, the group has grown rapidly, now operating 31 locations across six countries including the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and the Canary Islands.

I agree. Smoking good Havanna cigars used to be very normal in Europe. When I was in Spain I even saw the boxes of Montecristo 1 - 5 not being sold. The shop keeper told me that it became to expensive for the regular customers and we are not even talking about Linea 1935 or Cohiba.
