messymerlion Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Greetings everyone! Singaporean native here currently living in Boston, accompanying my wife on her PhD programme. I’ve been smoking cigars for about six years now, mostly Cubans, but ever since moving to the US two years ago, I’ve been on a bit of a cigar pilgrimage to discover new worlds that can satiate my spoiled palate. Sure, I know there are ways to get Cubans here, but I’m not about to risk deportation to scratch an itch. I’ve been following FOH for a while now, mainly for the reviews, but recently dived deeper into the threads and discovered Nudies/MOFOHs. I received my first order two days ago and can’t wait to light one up! Boston isn’t the most smoke-friendly city (unless we’re talking weed, but that’s a rant for another day). So if anyone in the area wants to meet up for a smoke, I’m game. Looking forward to learning more from the senseis on this forum. Cheers! 4

semigloss Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I'm about 50 miles south of Boston. Go check out 2 guys cigars in Southern New Hampshire. They have 3 stores there with a couple of lounges where you can smoke. Its not far from Boston. They are great. We get most of our cigars there. A lot cheaper then in MA. My recommendation would be the stuff from select Tobacco. Atabey, Alfonso, Byron and Bandeleiro. Not cheap but amazing smokes!
messymerlion Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 @semigloss thanks for the recommendation! I’ve been to 2 guys in Nashua but I’ve never tried anything from Selected Tobacco, yet I have heard great reviews. I will definitely check them out.

I've also bought the Trinity Robusto from this site and stated smoking a few. They are an awesome smoke. 1

They are an awesome smoke. Oh yeah I bought a 5 pack of those as well as the Canonazo and Queen Coronas. Tried one of each ROTT and they are a revelation. Eagerly waiting the recommended 30 day rest while I try other stuff. If you can get your hands on a Lanuza Mechudo in Toro from the recent LCA release, I highly recommend trying that.
