Popular Post El Presidente Posted July 11, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 11, 2025 Good article by GM CONTINUE . "The Dunhill treatment differed from most tobacconists of the time, as all cigars coming from Havana were reconditioned at each Dunhill store through a three-phase process before they were deemed fit to sell. This was what the company referred to as its “Selección Suprema” designation. The name wasn’t merely hubris. Here’s what they did:" 5
Ford2112 Posted July 11, 2025 Posted July 11, 2025 I think @JohnS has a few of these laying around. Probably. Maybe. 1
JohnS Posted July 11, 2025 Posted July 11, 2025 Haha...I wish! The only enthusiast/s I know that would have this cigar in their humidor would be located in Hong Kong. One is unlikely to have acquired this type of cigar without it been handed down to you within your family or from a mentor, in my opinion.
Lucas Buck Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 I have friends who have these cigars in their humidors and they live in the USofA - just sayin’. 4
Popular Post dud33 Posted July 14, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 14, 2025 You nailed it John - a mentor. Been smoking fine puros since 2000, was given 5 (No. 504) in 2020. The first two I smoked, one in 2021 for my 50th b'day and one last Thanksgiving were out of this world cigars. Showed little to no signs of age, exceptional in every way- the finest cigars I've ever smoked. Cigars are from the early to mid 1970s. 10 2
