Midweek Shootout Poll: Sancho Panza Belicosos vs Diplomaticos No. 2

Midweek Shootout Poll - where we randomly pit two Cuban sticks against one another to see which comes out on top. 

The ERDM Choix Supreme is currently battling it out with the Epi 1 here - still time to cast a vote in that one!  

The match-up this week sees the Sancho Panza Belicosos vs the Diplomaticos No.2

The Sancho Panza Belicosos is a nice cigar, even more so aged, but in comparison to a Diplomaticos No.2 it is disadvantaged by the fact that it hasn't been widely available. As a result, I would hazard to guess that a number of our members would have smoked the Diplomaticos No.2 since the SP Belicosos peak years of 2018/19, but not the SP Belicosos on a regular basis.

I’ve had some construction issues with D2 but when they are on, they are very good. I haven’t discovered the magic of SP yet.

Sancho Panza is one of my favorite marcas and the Beli has been my favorite SP and go-to long before it became the last cigar standing. A truly unique Havana cigar. Hits my palate right in the sweet spot. I like the Diplo 2 but it’s never been a standout for me. Probably near the bottom of my favorite Cuban torpedoes.

SP Beli is a great stick, but to me the Diplo 2 tops it, when they’re on.

I've had multiple Dip 2s. Some have been outstanding and then some were terrible. VR Unicos is probably my favourite torpedo CC wise now. 

Had two SP Belis but both less than a year on them. Lots of promise but not there yet, so can't really call it.
