Montecristo Makeover Part III. The Replacements

Member polling has brutally cut down the theoretical exisitng Montecristo line to: 

 

1. Montecristo Number 2 

2. Montecristo Number 4 

3. Montecristo Especial 

4. Montecristo Edmundo

5. Montecristo Number 1. 

Prior threads in the elimination process are below. Stop your nitpicking and trust in the force. 

I reserve the right to make a late play call in the final selection process but the rest is over to you.

I only felt strongly about one size: a Corona Gorda would be fantastic to see! Montecristo’s line up is already pretty comprehensive, but a 46 rg would fill a gap between the 1, 3, 4’s and the Edmundos.

Another gap is the extremely large formats, like a Double Corona, but I tend to like smaller cigars than that.

A Monte Salomones would be amazing!

The choose from list leaves me a little cold. In a Monte, I would love to see:

- Monte Butifarra

- Monte Fundy

- Monte Ninfas

- Monte Invictos (old Fonseca size

- Monte Corona Gorda

But I know who sits on the throne.

Some kind of double figurado, like a Presidente, and Corona Gorda to sort of fill in with a more currently popular size than the tragically axed 3. Everything else would likely sit there.
