Read on and scroll down to the history of Robert Lewis. I was in London in 1993 and remember visiting the Robert Lewis store where, (at the time) Robert Emery welcomed me and let me visit the store where W. Churchill made all his orders for his cigars from 1900 till his last order in 1964.

Robert Lewis was founded in 1787 until 1992 when J.J.Fox took over the shop on the 14th of Sept.1992. J.J.Fox was founded in 1881 in Dublin and had its first store in London in 1947.

I know of it. But it had already changed hands around 10 years before my cigar journey began. The stories and history are always good to know. Cheers.
