Growing and Rolling your own - Vuelto Abajo de Tejas

This is my second season of growing tobacco in my backyard in Dallas, TX. 

Focusing mostly on vuelto abajo this year with two Criollo 98 plants (front-one is not planted yet) 

Anyone grow and roll their own “Cubans”?

Would love to. I think growing tobacco is worse than growing marijuana in Australia.

I have a little garden and this like a cool thing to try. Where do you get the plants or seeds?

I haven't grown my own tobacco but I bought some and rolled my own. They look terrible compared to what we buy but overall for my first time doing it and not having the proper tools, I'm happy with how they came out. I smoke one each year on my birthday. The last one was way too plugged. I couldn't get much from it and I was away from home without my perfect draw and the BBQ skewer I found wasn't making it any better. I'll be lighting my next one next week.
