JohnS Posted April 24 Posted April 24 This article is for those of you enjoy the New World cigar, Tatuaje by Pete Johnson, which is a popular Non-Cuban brand amongst our members... Tatuaje Adds Line Extensions and New PCA Cigar April 23, 2025 - George Manzella As expected, the Tatuaje booth was busy all weekend with retailers buzzing about the company’s PCA 2025 trade show releases. Pete Johnson took a few moments of his busy time to speak to Cigar Journal about the company’s new products. Tatuaje has added two new vitolas to its Fausto brand, both 60 ring gauges. The first is a 4 3/8 x 60 and the other is a larger, 7 3/8 x 60. Johnson said they will begin shipping in May. Tatuaje also revealed two new wrapper options for the 7th Series line: Corojo and San Andreas Maduro. These two new additions complete the 7th Series line, which now has five different wrapper options, just like the 2012 Cojonú Series. Johnson also revealed that they were taking orders at the show for the new Corojo version of the PCA cigar, but said the cigar will not be shipping until January, 2026. djrey Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Interesting. I thought Pete was always pretty much against the large ring trend. Definitely more of traditionalist, but then again what does that mean anymore with Habanos cranking out the big rings now? 1
Çnote Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Big rg sells, may as well make what people buy. I use 60rg+ JRE boxes as storage for mixed singles, some shops empty 3-4 a week. But even as a Tat fanboi, these aren't on my radar. 1 1
