Popular Post Ford2112 Posted March 19 Popular Post Posted March 19 For me, storage conditions are more important than age. I like fresh and aged . Lately the fresh habanos I have smoked have been super approachable. This E2 was no exception. I smoked a stogie from the same batch the other night on discord. It was sweet and rich so today I am chasing a bit. This one is a bit more what I call true Partagas. The aroma at cold is barnyard,a bit of leather, and musk. No pun intended. The draw is very firm on this one. I like that actually especially for a large ring guage. I will say that I like to hold a cigar in my teeth and this ring guage is just not comfortable, but I always have liked the blend. Draw is cinnamon, leather, and bread, pre light. 1st third. Starts off light in flavor, under medium in body. This one is savory compared to that last E2. Lots of leather so far. A bit of paprika spice. Classic flavors in my experience. 2nd third. Banger! I think despite a lack of that sweet character this cigar is much more complex. Bready leather, some paprika, and a wood character. The retro is rather creamy. The construction is perfect. I used a straight cut and I tend to go east at first in case I get tar build up. I have cut this cap a couple times. Perfect draw and excellent. Final third ramps up. Sourdough, paprika spice, leather and toast. Very savory and rich, and I would say over medium now. No relights, no touch ups. Banger! I am giving it 4 stars. Maybe a bit higher as I think age will bring these flavors out even more. More tales from the bus soon! 18
tbelle7 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Great cigar. Doesn't get enough love IMO. Glad you enjoyed it. 1
Ford2112 Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 @tbelle7 I think these get love. They come in boxes of 5 which is nice. But they are large, and way overshadowed by D4. I think these have a much higher ceiling. 2
Redgoldband Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Love the E2. Last year, I got 2022 3-pack, two of which I’ve smoked. They’re heavenly. Easily one of my top two best Cubans I’ve smoked. Saving my last ‘22 in my long-age tupperdore for something really special. They’re amazingly good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gormag38 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Oh no @Ford2112, please tell me that is not a UofM shirt you're wearing?! Just as I was beginning to think your review was spot on! 😉 But it all seriousness, PSE2s are maybe the most underrated (in terms of public love) habano out there today. I think I've had 21 and 22s (both provincial and EL) and they were all amazing. 1 1

They were legit NCAA University of Michigan All American. They transitioned to pro wrestling and were one of my favorite tag teams along with the Hart Foundation and The Road Warriors! 3 1
Blazer Posted March 20 Posted March 20 LOL. I was at a motorcycle shop in Woodstock, GA and a fat bald guy came in asking when his bike would be ready. After he left, the owner of the bike shop told meet that was Rick Steiner. Totally unrecognizable from his wrestling days, he's now a real estate agent and has run for several local public office positions. 1
Ford2112 Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Haha yes!! And Scotty had some restaurant. Evidently a lot of those wrestlers have gotten into real estate. My favorite story is Dr. D. David Schultz becoming a bonafide bounty hunter! 1
