Popular Post Ford2112 Posted March 19, 2025 Popular Post Posted March 19, 2025 It had been a while since I had a Boli of any kind. To be honest piramides are not my preferred format as I'm more of a parejo kinda guy, but I have always liked the Diplo 2 and BBF. The wrapper was on point. Very lovely. Straight cut. Cold draw is leather and tobacco. Aroma at cold, barnyard and cocoa. I like the Simon Bolivar face on the label. 1st third. This started off really mellow, definitely under medium and light on the flavors, which were mild coffee, and a bit of twang. Subtle. These are pretty fresh, 2024. 2nd third, ramps up in intensity, with cocoa and leather at the forefront. Not much complexity, and again just under medium in body. Flavors are a little bolder. Final third was white pepper on the retro, and cocoa, cream, leather and a bit of sweetness. Not the best example of a BBF but the construction was money. Burned perfectly! 3 and a half stars. 13
David8406 Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 Nice review! I do like these. Are they still available in SLB or is it all dress boxes now?
