Earthbuddy Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 With current CC prices the way they are, what are the better tasting and enjoyable CCs and upper price points you would consider to be C&C?
Montezüma Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 Jose Piedra. They have several vitolas in their line up. Cazadores is my preference but the profile is consistent throughout the marca. The blend knows exactly what to deliver. Some deviations surely between the bigger vs. smaller vitolas that is commonly found in general, with intense wrapper on smaller one etc. Because its a short-filler cigar, so there is very little transition to be found, the profile is kinda fixed from head to toe. Sometimes they still manage to sing the high-notes but it is relatively rare. Very enjoyable smoke and in particular while sharing with friends. All in all, an absolute bargain! 1
Ford2112 Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Some of the perlas can be had for a decent price for me to consider it cheap and cheerful. Rafael Gonzalez comes to mind. Also the Aristocrats, Mille Fleurs. Basically anything around or below 10 bucks. Quintero has been thin on the ground and I have never had La Flor Cano or Vegueros. That leaves the Piedra which actually deliver a good daily smoke and if you are lucky you can find a Petit Cetros for under 4 bucks a cigar. 2

Duder Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I would add PLPC for close to ten bucks and 50 SLB to boot. For a splurge the Trinidad Reyes are about double that but so rich and nice contrast from the PL.
