GerardMichaelTX Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I make it a point to walk away after 40 hours and keep use my phone as little as necessary on weekends. Usually I just barge into one of my buddy's houses unannounced for some beer and force them to get out of their comfort zones and eat in public. This follows with bar crawling downtown or for more exotic nights a dance club or music concert. Tried to get these guys into smoking but they're lifelong friends that never really got into it. Wish I had more smoking buddies; no one seems to be able to find time. 1
Cigarsmoker81 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 To me taking time off and spending it at home. Two cigars a day, good food and amazing company. 2

Nothing wrong with slowing down & disconnecting while reconnecting at the beach, maybe wise to have something like this scheduled / pre planned for every six months or so. Some people struggle with the transitions of going from a fast paced routine to "doing nothing", but I think it's great that you are talking about this & normalizing it 👌 (my 2 cents). Happy 25 ! 😚💨 1
JohnnyO Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Disconnect the devices. Dont answer any call/texts. Get in touch with nature, you'll appreciate the quiet. When everyone starts beating you up for not answering your phone tell them you were fishing in Western Australia and chasing wallabies into a cave. John 1 2
