Calling FOH Colombos: Gallatin Cigars

I love the tag line: 

" For more Happiness" 

Mind you, I am not sure Mr Gallatin is the right face for that tag line. 

What can our Colombo posse dig up on Gallatin Cigars.

Didn't find much on the brand but there is this interesting, unflattering excerpt from an old book.

This snippet is from 1903 and is related to the cigar brand.  Can't access the source document in digital form though.

Hmm. Perhaps a different Gallatin! Maybe not...Not a lot of info other than anecdotes as above. But seems plausible.
