Popular Post JoeyBones777
First third is medium body with flavors of cedar, cardamom, slight citrus, almond and a balancing sweetness. Second third is more of the same with the addition of cinnamon with the cardamom spice. Draw, combustion and aroma are very good. Final third, flavors darken. The cedar becomes more oak in nature, earth, cardamom, cinnamon and a little leather. Through the first 2 thirds I had this at a 69-70, on the verge of box worthy but, it fell back a bit in the final third for a final score of 66, 5 pack worthy. I think this would be a good aging cigar. The sweetness seemed to want to come out more but was held back by the savory flavors and the final third darkened too much. An extended nap may round out the flavors more allowing the sweetness to shine through more and may also reveal more subtle flavors hiding in the blend. It would be nice to see how 3-5 years of age treats this blend.
