Great tunes with outstanding lyrics are always up there in my all-time favourites. Some of the great lyricists like Nick Cave and Roger Waters really standout, off the top of my head... but have been digging the work of ol' Warren Zevon of late... he's flown under the radar a bit in this regard for me...

Always found the lyrics on the Marillion albums when Fish was still with them were something else.

Agree with you @MoeFOH re Warren Zevon, love his stuff and I often get blank looks when I mention him if the conversation turns to music.

Have to admit I would have been in that crowd up until relatively recently... so glad I've gone down that rabbit hole now though. Amazing artist.
