Movie Weekend: Hitchcock's Top 25

The 39 Steps is one of my favourite films. Seen it as a play in London as well. Great laugh. Hitchcock delivered on many fronts. 

If you're looking to dip your beak into some old school classics, this is a great list to pick from.

Hitchcock's films tended to have a simple premise - 'Let's put an ordinary person into an extraordinary circumstance and see what happens!' So simple, but a lot of his films continue to have a strong legacy because of this.

not a bad list. north by northwest is my favourite. should be higher. some of those lower ones could go up a bit. topaz. saboteur. 39 steps and lady vanishes definitely higher. and Dial M for Murder. frenzy does not make the list? nor torn curtain? go back and do it again.

Well, that's the movie that set the template for the whole James Bond Series!

My favorites include Rope, Rear Window and The Trouble with Harry. Love the cinematography in these.
