I had bought 2 boxes (same box code) of these cigars in January 2019.  One box has light wrappers on the cigars and the other box has much darker wrappers on them.  And what a steal for only $72 per box. LOL, I should have bought 20 boxes of them.  I love both boxes of them; the lighter wrapper box is more or a silky caramel blast like a luscious caramel sundae and the darker wrapper has more chocolate caramel and sort of nutty taste to it and it reminds me of a delicious turtle sundae.😍

The cigar I am smoking today was from the lighter wrapper box. I had dry boxed it in my travel’dor (the humidity is 60%) for about a week. I was smoking it on my back deck, drinking my fresh home-roasted coffee and was being entertained with the yellow finches on our bird feeders. It started  out with a perfect draw and a caramel slightly grassy citrus flavor. The strength was under medium.

The second third the caramel flavor was increasing with a biscuit bready under tones. The strength was still under medium.

The final third the caramel flavor increased but still very smooth with a slight earthly tobacco taste. The strength increased to medium and I burned it to the nub. I was really enjoyed this hour smoke while watching at the yellow finches.  😊

I believe I also bought a box from the same retailer and for the same price, on special. The box code certainly sounds familiar. Anyway, I would concur...(it's) possibly one of the best box of PL Montecarlos anyone could hope to buy. I too wish I bought twenty!
