Popular Post ChangBang Posted July 10, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 10, 2024 Bought a 1/4 box here geez nearly 3 years ago for $14.50 each! I don't want to know how much they are going for now haha. I believe this is my last one from that purchase and I think this example was pretty consistent with what I've come to expect. So the cigar itself was pretty consistent. I got the classic Partagas savory, bready spice that I really like. In the beginning there was an occasional spice but with cardboard. Luckily that cleared up within the first inch. The rest the cigar was that bready spice transitioning to a woody cedar-y spice about halfway through to the end of the cigar. No other flavors or transitions really which I don't mind since I really like that spiced bread note. The great thing about this cigar was that Partagas bready spice was IN YOUR FACE strong! I didn't have to think or wonder about the flavors, it was really strong. Maybe the strongest I've encountered in all of my Partagas cigars. Right now Prez has a topic about blinds...I did the blind last year or something and got demolished with I think all of em wrong 😅. There would be no doubt in my mind this is at least a Partagas! And with this being my last one - I did still have my notes from my first one from 3yrs ago "good mostly bready cigar. Only got the party spice in the last third" Looks like that extra age really intensified the spice note! I rated that one a 5.5/10(good/very good) - I think the extra age raised up the score to a 7/10(excellent). 10 1
