Got it. Great pickups!!!! Ever hear of 2015 Tequila Ocho, La Latilla, Extra Añejo Tequila (40%)?

I have not, but Ocho comes out with a number of limited/unique offerings. They have a few single estate options, a “fuerte” option that’s 106 proof or so (very good) and others. I would trust anything from them.

I saw this listed on the Berry Bros web site for £166 so it better be excellent! 1
loose_axle Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Coming back to this originally I was more an anejo tequila person. I recently picked up another bottle of Artenom 1146 (anejo) which I had loved back when I first tried tequila but did nothing for me this time around. Went and grabbed a bottle of Siete Leguas Blanco and Fortaleza Blanco. The Siete Leguas was sweet vanilla into the usual agave vegetal notes with a nice oily mouthfeel that gave no burn and went down so well (and quickly) I bought a second bottle. Yet to crack the Fortaleza. Learning now more towards blanco reposado for future adventures with tequila. Probably going to revisit mezcal again soon. 2
