Popular Post HuffnPuffff Posted June 2, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 2, 2024 RyJ #1 - 1980's (2FRWM24) I smoked a lot of these in the 2000's and have always really enjoyed these cigars; especially outside (what some of you call a yard 'gar). I was amazed at how small this cigar was. It reminded me of one of those preserved pygmy heads - miniaturised and slightly musty looking . I didn't measure the ring gauge but I'm guessing it has shrunk from 40 to 38 or 36. I cut & lit it, & we were off. It tasted good. Burn was great. It was in really good shape. FINALLY I was able to discern the cherry flavour that people sometimes refer to with RyJ's. Sour cherry. This might have been my 1000th RyJ and the first time I picked up unmistakeable cherry The cigar smoked well, got stronger and also had wood and leather elements. Overall a very interesting experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 14
El Presidente Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Loved the review review Alex I think we can all recall a "eureka" moment in our cigar journey. 1
rondogg Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Probably one of the best vintages I have smoked with you, buddy! 1
