Sorry missed your comment. It’s a series of books based in the Napoleonic times. Main Character is a Royal Navy Captain. Bit like the Sharpe books but naval.

Not at all, thank you sir! I will definitely check it out, gee, Sharpe brings back a bit of nostalgia, must be 20 years since I read those. Really liked Bernard Cromwell's book on Waterloo as well.
