Popular Post RDB Posted April 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 4, 2024 Did I say how much I like Partagas? There’s one for every occasion, from the Short to the Lusi. Today it’s this fine piramide. I find the character of a Partagas cigar is strongly influenced by its shade and oil content. This one is slightly on the deeper side, with a bit of tooth to the wrapper, and that’s reflected in the smoke. Classic sourdough and plain cake here, with a little more richness and bite than a silky Lusi would have. I never get the raisin thing with P2, but I can see why some would. Well balanced. This smoked pretty well despite cool damp conditions outside. Most importantly, it evolved gently, holding my interest and providing pleasure right down to the nub. Score a clear 1 on the binary scale. 6
chasy Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I have two boxes aging that I can’t wait to crack into. (Embarrassed to admit I’ve never had one…)
