subzerox
What a beautiful looking cigar! The Connossieur bands (especially the A/B) are probably the best looking bands I've ever seen (prove me wrong). It looks regal, elegant, and sophisticated; compared to some cigar bands (especially NW) which look like little kids comic drawings (opposite of the debonair look that cigar smoking should exude). Prelight: sweet, woodsy floral; I smelled the cab of 25 (about 22 left) and compared with Connie A cab right after, there was no sweetness in the Connie A and it was very dry. Both were similar age (April/May 2023), the Connie A needs a lot more age where I think the Connie 2 is ready now. 1st third: great draw, thick chewy smoke, sweet barnyard/hay. Slight caramel sweetness with some pepper on the finish. Delicious. Medium body. 2nd third: sweetness is still there, pepper moves towards the middle of the smoke/finish, Cuban tobacco twang is present. Haven't ash'd it yet lol. 3rd third: sweetness goes away, more pepper, medium body, good smoke. Burn is great. Ash falls at the start. Conclusions: delicious smoke. Definitely box worthy. I don't do numbers because how do you tell the difference between an 89 vs. 87, or 90 and 92? come on.
