Popular Post ChangBang
Smoked a Ninfa yesterday as I couldn't decide on what I was feeling. The theme being skinnies with a ninfa prize, figured might as well smoke a ninfa right? I didn't get them as soon as they came out, but maybe a couple weeks of them being on sale I got in on a group buy? Been resting at 65/65 in my singles humidor. 1 - Starts off with a dark bready note with sprinkles of floral and earthiness. Well constructed with a good draw and thick smoke coming from each draw. The dark bread is the constant where you get pops of the floral and earthiness which keeps it interesting. So far so good! 2 - Instead of pure rich dark bread, I start getting a rich dark tobacco note - they play together in this third. Floral and earthiness don't make an appearance. 3 - Guess the bread note beat the tobacco note as this last third is more of a rich dark bread. Pops of floral notes here and there. Overall - 6/10 - above average. Pretty good NC cigar that had strong flavors and no pepper or bitterness. Pretty basic with minimal evolution but sometimes you just want a good cigar that is constructed well and have nice flavor notes. I think so far my FOH cigar rankings has this 3rd behind the robusto and churchill.
