At $50+ I won't be stocking them in the cabinet. Would buy a single or two for the novelty of it.

I don't know why, but I've never gotten into Trinidads ... the flavor just isn't there for me.

I’m in the same boat. Been through almost two boxes of Reyes and haven’t really enjoyed one. Have a pair of Fundies I’ve been saving as well from a 2018 box, so fingered crossed they hit the mark me.

I see that they're being offered in packages of 3 and 12. From the article above it sounds like they are planning on releasing both to the public (rather than the 3 pk as a gala gift) which I don't know if that's ever been done before in that packaging.

They’re doing the same thing with the upcoming RyJ Reserva - offering three packs in addition to the regular release. At today’s prices it’s appreciated - though I still have no interest.

I’ve been smoking them. These are very good cigars. I agree about the pricing, but $60 and under you will be happy. Honestly I’m so impressed with this cigar, I feel that it’s better than the originals. Very classy,  very complex, smokes slow and cool, real depth, a touch over medium in strength. I’ve tasted a prominent marshmallow note in every one I’ve smoked so far. I put this in the same catorgory as a Punch Sir David or a La Escepion  Selectos Finos as far as flavor intensity and classiness. If they keep them just like the ones I’m smoking then they are worth top dollar and I don’t say that lightly. The ones ive been smoking have been well packed, with a slightly firm draw,

Those are BHK58 that the Trini is sitting on  for size comparison.

You’re sure this is the same cigar we’ll receive to market @Sandman?

Can’t say for sure. These are fresh, I was told rolled for the festival, so maybe extra love went into them?

Habanos seems to be really stepping things up with Trinidad. I smoked some fresh Topes last June that were absolute flavor bombs. I was so surprised how good it was. I really missed the boat on those because I could only get 5, but they were fantastic. Reyes can be hit or miss in my experience.

Thanks 👍

Well, we’ll see. Or not. With LaTrova now at around 85 EUR, pricing prospects don’t look too bright... 😅

Haha, no doubt. I really hope they are the same because what I’m tasting is truly blowing me away, and i’d buy a box if they were $60 or under. I’m just finishing up my 4th one, and including this one I’m smoking right now  I’ll have burned my fingers on three of them.
