Yep, I made clay ashtrays as well. Both my parents gave up smoking before my older bro was born. Only my grandmother and aunts smoked by then. And yes, I made them ashtrays too!

My parents never smoked, or not so long as I have been alive, but I absolutely made ashtrays as a kid. Crazy how the world has changed.

She gifted me her first completed piece.
