Popular Post Corylax18 Posted January 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 6, 2024 The article linked below is written as a positive.(By the state controlled news agency) But it glosses over the massive demographic collapse that has left all this real estate available. Cuba has started turning abandoned High Schools and Middle Schools into tobacco processing and warehousing facilities, as well as at least one chicken farm. I guess its cheaper than fixing all the facilities that where destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Its just one more case of the regime mortgaging the country's future to keep themselves comfortable for another year or two. https://www.granma.cu/cuba/2024-01-05/agricultura-pinarena-transforma-antiguas-escuelas-en-el-campo-en-instalaciones-productivas-05-01-2024-23-01-43 3 2
