Well gentlemen, long time no see. Been gone for a good while. Today I made the heartbreaking discovery that I have been broken into and my extensive (by some standards, but equally not by some of you serious collectors standards) collection of cigars have been stolen.

Some 120ish boxes. Gone. With the exception of some Dantes and some of the first batch of FoH nudies.

I managed to recover approx 20 boxes in total, mostly severely rain damaged. Have set them to dry in the vain hope of salvaging something.

On the brightside I found a box of mostly dry and undamaged Fonsecas.

On the downside all my 5/6 year aged CoRos are gone. And the especiales. And the pyramides. And a complete box of 898s. And and and. Well too much to mention. But happy I am not.

At least the Quinteras didn't get nicked eh? Only seriously waterlogged. Probably smoke better now mind.

So erm chaps, can I have some advice on how to explain to the Mrs that she needs to make economies around here so I can buy me some new cigars...

So sorry to hear that mate. Is this not somehow covered by insurance?  Best of luck.

Awful to hear Rich. :thumbsdwn:

It is not the first time it has happened to a member here. I do hope there is some insurance recompense avenue available. If I can help with that in any way, touch base.
